Designer/Couturier
Like the collections she designs, Zoya Nudelman, the co-founder and chief designer of ZoyaModa Atelier, is graceful, sophisticated, and exquisite. Currently resides in Chicago, IL, Zoya was born in Kishinev, Moldova. She came to the US when she was younger with a dream; to one day make every woman look and feel like a Queen.
With an inherent sense of style and art in her heart, Zoya knew at a young age that design was her passion. Zoya has been trained by a professional Gallery artist and a Couture Designer from Europe and has been able to bring all of her passion, knowledge, and creative vision into her beautifully designed gowns. She grew up learning, sewing, and experiencing a couture designer atmosphere since she was 6 years of age, and used to spend many hours drawing with her grandfather in his Gallery since she was 3 years old. Her experience and knowledge extends to couture techniques, Tailoring, Draping, Garment embellishment, Patternmaking, Bridal dress construction, corsetry, strong drawing and illustration skills, and more…
Zoya holds a B.F.A in Fashion Design from Columbus College of Art and Design in Ohio and has earned her M.B.A from New York Institute of Technology in New York City.
After working for the Fashion design industry and teaching in the Fashion Department at 2 Fashion schools (Illinois Institute of Art and International Academy of Design and Technology) for 7+ years, Zoya has had the privilege to meet great people who have helped her make her dream a reality. And through a combination of talent, dedication and ambition, ZoyaModa Atelier was founded in Chicago, IL. A dream whichoffers brides romantic elegance, great fit, beauty, class, comfort, and attention to quality.
All of ZoyaModa Atelier Gowns are designed with bride’s great personality in mind. When Zoya works with her clients, she works closely with each Bride to develop a beautiful design that will start from a sketch and lead to a beautifully constructed gown.
Zoya Nudelman is also the author and illustrator of a published textbook called “The Art of Couture Sewing”. This text is a practical guide to the fine construction practices used in couture workrooms. Beginning with a brief history of couture, the book provides fully-illustrated instructions on constructing a couture dress from start to finish. It covers certain draping techniques used in designing shirts, skirts and dresses and also includes discussions of corsetry and how to execute accurate stitches. After reading this book, the reader will understand the various haute couture methods, particularly how these methods affect design decisions and relate to the quality of these very special garments. The textbook describes each application in detail, with step-by-step instructions and clear illustrations. It also matches fabrics to the appropriate needle, thread, pressing, and construction techniques.

Operation Manager
ZoyaModa Atelier is a partnership between Zoya Nudelman, the Designer/Couturier, and
Zhanna Nudelman, the Operation Manager. Zhanna and Zoya are a mother-daughter team who have
always dreamed of working together.
"My favorite part of working and being in business with my mom, is the lack of stress, and
missunderstandings.
